Larry Carnes, 65, a native of Kentucky, died at home on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. He served in the U.S. Air Force, was a Vietnam veteran and retired as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service in 1987.
Larry is survived by his wife Kum Cha Carnes; and his two daughters, Tina and Rhonda.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Feb. 5 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held Monday, Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
