Sarah Terese Emerson Quan

Sarah Emerson Quan, age 56, passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011. She was a native and resident of Newport News. Sarah was a business owner and operated Squeeky Qleen Cleaning Service. She attended Faith Church of God. Sarah was preceded in rest by her son, Chris Brynarsky and her father, Edwin Emerson. She is survived by her husband, Quinton Quan; son, Micaiah Basham; step-son, Markus Quan; daughters, Barbara Kennel and Sarah Ketterer; step-daughters, Melanie Quan and Mandy Quan; grandchildren, Cody, Casey, Deja, Cameron, Lexi, Tyler, Gavin, Alayna, and Sherry; step-grandchildren, Cadence and Kiley; great-grandchild, Kayla; mother, Barbara Emerson; brothers, George, Steve, Chris, and Daniel; sisters, Ella, Rochell, and Jennifer; and aunt, Mary Calafiore. A celebration of Sarah's life will be held Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at 7 PM. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:30 PM. Interment will be at Albert G.
