Mom we are starting another year without you.  I miss you so very much. A day doesn't pass that I don't think of you. We all miss you. I know your watching us from heaven.  Know that you are loved by all of us!

Momma,
 You have been gone five months now and we still miss you everyday. We Want you to know we love and miss you so very much! You were the best mom, hard when we needed it and loving when we needed you. You never let us do without anything we really truly needed. We made it to every field trip no  matter what the cost. The money would always magically appear and we would get to go. We always had new school clothes and shoes. Maybe not the top brand but they were to us. Santa and the Easter Bunny were always very good to us. Never in all my growing up could we say we got a store bought Easter basket and we only had an artificial tree one year and that was because she was  sick. Mom and my Step-Dad always worked to make sure to make sure we had a good Christmas. Now that I am an adult and have raised children I know how hard all this can ben when money is tight. I loved my mom with my whole heart and I am not sure if it's possible but I love her even more today! Rest in peace Mom. I love and Miss you!!

Dear Vicki and family, your Mom was such a light, inspiration, always hopeful.  Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.  She now sees face to face, so let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.  Let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-- and all the more as you see the Day approaching.  My prayers are with all of you.

My heartfelt sympathy goes to the Vaughan family, during this difficult time. I hope the promise found at 1 Thessalonian 4:14 can bring you'll some comfort. Knowing that there is a future for those we have lost in death can be reassuring.

To Terry and family.  So sorry to hear of  Bernies passing.  Have known you since we was teenagers.  Your family is in  my prayers.  Mike Press and family.

There are no words that can take away the pain and heartache that is being felt with the loss of our beloved Bernie. We all know what a special woman she was to everyone that knew her. She brought so much love and joy into the lives of many with her warm caring heart and lively personality. I'm so thankful that she was in my life and a part of my family. Bernie was so great with the children she took care of at Langley AFB Youth Center! She mentored them into great young adults and responsible citizens! It was a pleasure to work with her the 10 yrs I was at Langley, from 1992-2003! May she Rest in Peace and may God bless her family and friends! Thank you Bernie for all you did in the Langley Youth Program! You were really loved and respected!!!

I join with the Vaughan family in mourning the loss of a very sweet and dear co-worker. Burnie you were a delight to know. I will miss our conversations and I will cherish our last visit together at Bethel Youth Center. You were a force to be reckoned with, a class act. I love you and can't wait to meet you in heaven where we can laugh and joke again.

I love you so much my sweet Mrs Bernie . I am going to miss you. just know that you have touched the hearts of everyone that had the blessing of knowing you. Thank you for being a part of my life . I love you . Til we meet again.

To the Vaughan family, thank you all for sharing your wife/mom with me and my family. Sarah "Bernie" was like a mother to me and a grandmother to my children and grandchildren. Bernie was known by her character of faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Sorry for your loss, Mrs. Bernie was a sweet hearted person all the time.  She touch so many children lives at the Langley AFB youth center. She gave them so much encouragement even keeping in touch with them through Facebook.  She will be truly missed.  We love you!

I am so very sorry to hear you lost your mom.  She was good to me! Her strict rules kept us out of a lot of trouble, though we still found our share of it.  She treated me like one of her own girls.

Just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss of a wife, a mother and a friend.  She was truly one of God's precious angels.  My heart is hurting for the loss of my friend, but nothing can compare to the loss of a wife or mother. 

I also know it will be harder at Christmas time remembering that this was the time that God took her home.   Both my parents died last year, my father in February, my mother died on December 10th.  But I do want you to know as the month,s passes the hurt gets less and the happy memories are more. 

I know nothing will stop the hurt.  But try to remember that Bernie is going to be sitting at the dinner table with her mom, her brother, feeling no pain, having no breathing problem; and will be celebrating the birth of Christ with God Himself.  Like I said, nothing stops the hurt, but try to remember what a joy this is going to be for her.  My prayers will be with you all.

RIP my friend. To her family, she was a SPECIAL lady.  I know GOD welcomed her with open arms. I'm sure Eugenia was waiting in line.  I will surely miss her.  She was one of our favorite patients at our office.
