

Sherri was born in Lynchburg, Virginia but was raised in Newport News, Virginia. She graduated from Newport News High School and retired from Anheuser Busch, Inc.
She was predeceased by her father, Cicero Lawrence Drewry; her father from the age of 12, Joseph Lawrence (Dick) Dolan; her husband, Kenneth Ward Cooper; and sister- in- law, Linda Dolan. She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Wilson Nichols Dolan of Pamplin, VA; daughter and son- in- law, Kelly and Jimmy Holland of Suffolk, VA; granddaughter and her husband, Deanna and Robbie Felts of Ivor VA; grandson, Westley Holland of Suffolk, VA; 2 great-granddaughters, Kennedy and Emerson Felts; brother, Craig Drewry of Boonesmill VA; brother and sister- in- law, Glenn and Tracy Drewry of Canton, NC; brother, Mark Dolan of Chester, VA; brother and sister- in-law, Hugh and Carolyn Dolan of Appomatox, VA; brother, Scott Dolan of Smith Mountain Lake, VA; sisters, Jill D. Layne of Pamplin, VA and Kay Cook of Portsmouth, VA; and brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Patricia Lewis of Hampton, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Sherri fought ovarian cancer for 15 years, she never gave up hope, she always maintained her positive outlook and never wavered in her faith in God. Sherri will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She was known for her generosity and outpouring love for others. Special thanks to all those who helped and supported her throughout her cancer journey, especially Dr. Scott Kruger and his nurse Denise at Virginia Oncology, and Dr. Conkling and nurse Karen. As quoted in scripture Matthew 25:21 "His Lord said unto him, Well done thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.”
A private service was held in Parklawn Memorial Park.
