SMSgt Gabriel Louis Kalski, (USAF, Ret.)

Our beloved father, grandfather, and loving husband left this world peacefully on August 12, 2015. During his illustrious career, he traveled the world as USAF SMSgt. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years and retired from civil service after 25 years. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Kalski and Alice Jakielski; brothers Frank Kalski and Robert J. Kalski; and his sister Rita Szczerbicki. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Eloise Kalski; his three daughters, Jeanneane Southern, Patricia Kalski, Christine Cruz and husband Jeffery Cruz; his grandchildren, Collette Bahn and husband Matthew Bahn, Candace Southern, Cameron Cruz, and Lauren Cruz. He will be greatly missed by all.

Viewing will be held from 6-8 pm on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Parklawn Wood Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am Tuesday, August 18, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hampton, VA.
