We will miss Sonia who blessed us all with her quick smile and loving demeanor. As my student I cannot  imagine a sweeter more giving spirit, always ready to kid me in the most kind way; she made me laugh, which is how I'll remember her.  I know her little light is shinning now in heaven because she was so loved here.

Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot fill. I pray for continued strength for the family. God is able to do anything but fail.

As I sit in Heaven...
As I sit in heaven and watch you everyday, I try to let you know with signs, I never went away. I hear you when you're laughing and watch you as you sleep. I even place my arms around you to calm you as you weep. I see you wish the days away begging to have me home, so I try to send you signs so you know you are not alone. Don't feel guilty that you have life that was denied to me. Heaven is truly a beautiful, just you wait and see. So live your life, laugh again. Enjoy yourself, be free. Then I know with every breath you take, you'll be taking one for me!

My prayers to Sonia's family and friends. When I think of Sonia from way back in the day at the old Bethel Manor Youth Center, I remember that beautiful smile on her face. Sonia stayed in the Gym with a basketball in her hands at a very early age. Janet we are here for you and your family.

As I watched you grow up starting from middle school, you were always a beautiful ray of light that shined so bright. Watching you play basketball with Gina was the best. The connection you have with my family is something that will never be forgotten. You became apart of our family. We all love you and your shining star will always shine bright in our hearts. Rest in Paradise lil sis.

My daughters went to school with Taari and Sonia. I am saddened to hear of Sonia's passing. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I too, had the pleasure of being Sonia's Honors Chemistry teacher at Heritage. She was a bright, energetic, and talented young lady.   Her sweet and gentle spirit touched everyone she met.  Please know that you are in my prayers.

I had the pleasure of being Sonia's Honors World Geo teacher at Heritage.  I will always cherish the lessons she taught me.

Sonia will forever be our Heritage Angel. I will always remember her first week at Heritage as our very shy Sonia who grew into an outstanding young lady who brought joy and happiness to all of us at Heritage. Our hearts are broken today and our thoughts and prayers are with her family. She will always be our Heritage girl!
