Stephen Kenchen Taylor

Stephen Kenchen Taylor, 71, passed away Wednesday morning, December 5, 2018. He was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and was a resident of Yorktown, Virginia.
Stephen was an Electrical Engineer and worked at the Newport News Shipbuilding for 17 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Newport News.
Stephen was preceded in rest by his parents, Marion and Betty Taylor; and loving wife of 32 years, Brenda B. Taylor. He is survived by his two children, Matthew S. Taylor (Nary) and Jessica M. Taylor (Rich); sisters, Susan L. Toffenetti (Paul), Terri L. Lorincz (David), and Cindy L. Monelly (Michael).
His son, Matthew, wishes to thank Jonel and Marissa for their care and compassion during and after this difficult time.
A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the Mausoleum Chapel at Parklawn Memorial Park with inurnment to follow. The family will receive friends at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home for a time of fellowship and reception after services.
