He is survived by his children: Thomas Gambrell Jr. and Narcelia Gambrell; his children's mother, Delores A. Gambrell; his granddaughter, Sophia Gambrell; and his siblings: Stella Mack and Samuel Gambrell.
The family will welcome friends Monday, February 10, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 11:30 AM, followed by interment with military honors at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Rd., Suffolk, Virginia 23434.
