

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Kehoe of Hampton, Virginia; son, John and wife, Sandy Kehoe of Warrenton, Virginia; son, Michael and wife, Marie Kehoe of Gloucester, Virginia; daughter, Barbara and husband, Marc Tellinger of Chesapeake, Virginia; and son, David Kehoe of Hampton, Virginia. He is also survived by grandsons, T.J. and Jason Kehoe; grandson and granddaughter, Jesse and Alexandra Tellinger; and great-granddaughter, Chloe Tellinger.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas J. Kehoe and mother, Mary Veronica Kehoe of Ridgefield, Connecticut.
Tom served in the U.S. Navy for many decades and achieved the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class. He served his country during three wars: WWII, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Tom survived six beachhead landings in the Pacific at the age of 19 in WWII and through his service earned eight battle stars. After leaving the Navy, Tom continued to serve his country in the Civil Service and later as a defense contractor before dully retiring.
Tom was well known for his big smile and Irish humor. His was a life of service and he was known and beloved by many. After battling illness - Last Rites was administered by Father Jim Cowles of the Church of St. Therese in Gloucester, Virginia. A memorial service with full military honors were held at graveside in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton, Virginia. Pastor Bob Collins of World Outreach Worship Center in Newport News, Virginia gave the closing prayer. Tom was surrounded by family and friends.
