Tom was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 4th, 1941. He joined the United States Air Force in 1963 traveling with his two young daughters to the Philippines and Turkey. He met his wife of 30+ years in South Carolina where he was stationed after Turkey. He not only gained a wife, he gained a son who was in the United States Navy. Tom was also stationed in England and visited France, Germany and Thailand before retiring after 20 years of service. He began a second career working for Raytheon Service Company retiring from there after another 20 years. When he became bored in retirement, he began a third career as a tax preparer for Liberty Tax.
In his spare time, Tom enjoyed creating things with his hands and made many special treasures for family over the years. He made everything from model planes, cars and boats to clocks, whirly gigs, pens and lighthouses. He also enjoyed fishing and building computers. He was the family computer geek and you could always go to him for help fixing your computer.
We will always carry his memory in our hearts.
