She was preceded in death by her husband, K.W. Schenkelberg; and her parents, Chrystal and Bertha Cobb.
She is survived by her son, Kraig Schenkelberg and his wife, Sherri; her daughter, Linda Hall and her husband, Patrick; brother, Robert Cobb and his wife, Peggy of Sarasota, Florida; sister, Evelyn Mulvaney, of Tallahassee, Florida; four grandhcildren; and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 20, 2010, at Culley Meadowwood Memorial Park, in Tallahassee, Florida.
Virginia was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, Hampton, Virginia. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Sunday, August 29, 2010, at 4 P.M. at St. Mark's Church located at 99 East Mercury Boulevard, Hampton, Virginia 23669.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the church.
