She had been released from rehab to hospice on June 18, 2021.
Born to William Blanchard and Ethel Stevens on December 31, 1927 in Kalkaska, Michigan. She graduated from Kalkaska High School in 1945 and married Larry Marshall on May 25, 1947.
Vivian has joined Larry, Phyllis Kassube (sister); Wesley Blanchard (brother); Carol Wehunt (stepsister) and Denny Marshall (stepbrother) in Heaven.
She is survived by Richard (son); Darlene (daughter-in-law); Matthew (grandson) and twelve nieces and nephews.
As a military wife, Vivian accompanied her husband to various assignments in the United States and Europe. She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. Vivian will be fondly remembered as a pet person.
She retired from Virginia Power as the head teller. Vivian enjoyed Bingo at the Moose Lodge and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and Atlanta Braves fan.
There will be a family service held at a later date.
