Walter Timothy Harding

He was born on October 3, 1951, in Martins Ferry, Ohio and raised in Wheeling, West Virginia. He was a proud Veteran who served in the United States Air Force for twenty years. He later retired in Hawaii and moved his family to Yorktown, Virginia in April 1991.

Walt was an active member of Harbor Baptist Church in Hampton, VA, for 36 years. He served in numerous areas of ministry, which included singing in the Church Choir, assisting in services at the Peninsula Rescue Mission, and performing ground/property maintenance.

Walt is survived by Sun Ki, his wonderful wife of 45 years; his daughter, Linda; sons, Michael and Daniel; grandchildren, Isaiah, Mason and Ella; his brother, Art; and sisters, Rhonda and Etta.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, November, 22, at Harbor Baptist Church with Pastor CJ Prather officiating. The family will receive visitors at 12:00 pm. An interment to follow the service will occur Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 North Armistead Ave, Hampton, Virginia 23666.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Harbor Baptist Church, 1509 Big Bethel Road, Hampton, VA, 23666.
