I will miss you my dear friend of 40+ years. I enjoyed every moment spending time with you whether on the golf course, at the Hampton Elk Lodge, or out for "2" beers during happy hour.
I know you enjoyed listening to Merl Haggard and your favorite song was "He Stopped Loving Her Today!" Well old buddy, you stopped loving the love of your life today, your lovely wife Yvonne. I hope she knows how much you loved her.

Tony and I have known Wayne for many years. We lived across the street from him for 8 yrs, moved out of the neighborhood for 2 yrs and then back again because we missed the tight knit community we had here. My fondest memories of Wayne are at the celebrations we had as a community of neighbors who loved him. There were also great memories in our home with him when he graced us with his presence for dinner, on an occassional Christmas or Thanksgiving. My happiest memories are of Wayne and his beloved 4 footed companion "Joey," he was everything to Wayne, and Wayne cried like a baby when Joey died. I take comfort in knowing he is reunited with Joey, although we are now the ones shedding tears for our beloved friend. May he rest in eternal peace, and may all those who loved him and now mourn his passing be showered with love and peace. ♡ +
