William Robert Messick Sr.

Billy was born on August 9,1943 and lived in the Poquoson/Seaford area all of his life. He was well known for his love of the water and spent any free time he had on his boat whether it was work boat races or just cruising the water with friends and family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Frances Messick, son, William Messick Jr (Vicki), daughter, Jackie Pauls (Cody), two brothers Jimmy Messick and David Messick, 8 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Margaret Faulk Messick and Robert Messick. Funeral services will be held at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 North Armistead Ave. Hampton, VA beginning at 10:00am On Monday December 6, 2021. Family will be accepting visitors after the service at 312 Old Seaford Rd. Seaford, VA 23696. In lieu of flowers, family is asking that donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
