William worked as a Machinist in Dept. X43 for over 40 years at the Newport News Shipyard and was a proud member of The American Legion Post 31. He was a United States Army Veteran with 2 years active duty service and 4 years in the Reserves. He enjoyed many years of camping with friends and family, especially at Holladay Island Campground, North Carolina.
The family will receive friends at a celebration of life graveside service for William will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Hampton Memorial Gardens, 155 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Virginia 23666.
