In 1986, as a Mechanical Technician, he retired from Teledyne Hastings-Raydist and in 2009 he retired from Jefferson Lab.
He was a lifetime member of the Hampton Volunteer Fire Department.
A funeral service, with Fire Department Honors, will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 16, 2013, in the Mausoleum Chapel of Parklawn Memorial Park. Interment will follow the service. Casual attire is requested.
