Xavier Alexander "Alex" Smith-Hughes

Xavier Alexander Smith-Hughes, lovingly known as Alex by his family and “Curly” or “X” by his friends, was born on June 30, 2002. He graduated from Bethel High School in June of 2020 and completed his freshman year at Norfolk State University for business management. He loves God and serves his community. He is a faithful member at Liberty Baptist church. He always knows how to lift a heavy spirit and has an infectious smile that could light up a room. He made a friend anywhere he went because he loves people! He adores his family and he is an amazing son, brother, cousin and the truest of friends. Xaviers personality is truly one to remember. He leaves an impact on everyone he meets by simply being the kind, sweet, and silly person he is. He is authentic and true to who he is. Always a smile or laugh when you saw him. Xavier always forgives quickly and loves hard. His main goal is to make sure everyone is happy and that’s exactly what he does. He is passionate about football, xbox gaming, cars, and motorcycles. Xavier would talk to anybody about a car or a motorcycle if they had ears to hear. That’s all he wanted, ever since he was a little boy.
