Zelphia Norris Warren

Zelphia was born in Snow Hill, North Carolina and was a Hampton resident her entire adult life. On April 12, 1958, she married William (Billy) Warren and together they raised three children. Zelphia was a homemaker and spent much of her time supporting and caring for her husband and children. In her later years, she enjoyed some of the simpler pleasures in life like walks at Buckroe Beach with her husband Billy, many times followed by lunch at one of their favorite restaurants.

Zelphia was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Warren Sr. She is survived by her son William M. Warren Jr. (Jane) of Hampton, VA; daughter Susie Warren (Chuck) of New Castle, PA; son Vince Warren (Christy) of Hampton, VA; four grandchildren, Deidre Budai (Jason), AJ Bovo (Krista), Jake Warren and William Lee Warren; and three great-grandchildren, Giuliana Bovo, Dominick Bovo, and Easton Hays.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Waterford at Virginia Beach Assisted Living Facility and Interim Healthcare of Virginia Beach (Hospice) for the care provided to our loved one.

The family will be having a private funeral service with Pastor Joe Hunt officiating. Interment will be at Parklawn Memorial Park in Hampton, Va. Arrangements by Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, Hampton, Virginia.
