Our 31-year-old son, Aaron Lee Johnston, has passed away. He brought light into every room, strength to every challenge, and love to everyone he knew.
His family who loved him dearly are Kelli L. Johnston, Richard A Johnston and his son Noah Weaver-Johnston (9) of Hanford and Landon Chastaine (5) of Santa Maria. He is also Survived by his sister Whitney Tozier and her Husband Glenn of Monterey and his niece Ruth Tozier. His beloved uncle Ed Bentley and his wife Chrissy Bentley of Raceland, Ky are deeply moved by his passing as well.
We honor & celebrate the life of our son, a man who was not only our child, but a great gift from God. He had a kind heart and cared for everyone he met like our Savior Jesus Christ did.
He excelled as a football player, wrestler, coach, official, teacher’s aide and certified welder. He poured his heart into building others up, working hard, and modeling resilience.
He was a talented athlete, musician, and song writer. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and others. He loved us bigger, louder, and harder than imaginable. His God given sense of humor made all around him happier.
Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we find our way through this grief.
People’s Funeral Chapel in Hanford will handle all arrangements. A video/slideshow celebration of Aaron’s life will be posted on Facebook for all soon.

Rest in the loving arms of Jesus, our son, until we see you again in heaven. We love you and you were always the best of us all.
