Alfred was employed at Candlewick Yarns in Lemoore and 7-11 in Fresno as a manager. Then he worked at the Corcoran Prison as a counselor. His greatest passion throughout his life was music. In the 70's, he performed for a band called Chevere. He also performed in several nursing homes in the area that gave him the greatest joy when he saw the faces of the elderly light up, eliciting fond memories in their own life. For some it brought tears to their eyes. He felt that performing for the elderly was more rewarding for him.
Alfred is survived by his sons Jesse Solorio and Alfred Jr. Solorio and daughters Ysidra Solorio and Danielle Solorio. He is also survived by his sisters Rosemary Solorio and Eleanor Guerrero and brother Roy Solorio. His predeceased relatives are his father, Ysidro Solorio, mother, Mary Solorio, and his wife, Felipa Solorio.

Lemoore Avenue, Lemoore, CA 93245) for the Graveside Service (likely to arrive between 11:45 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.).
Alfred Solorio will be remembered for the music that lived in his heart and flowed through everything he did. He was incredibly talented, able to play multiple instruments, sing and write his own music with ease. That was his passion. He truly enjoyed performing and sharing his gift with others. He was also skilled in mechanics, carpentry, and electrical work, and enjoyed raising animals and living the country life, but music and socializing was the light of his life. Music is what kept him going; what kept him alive. He was a loving sibling and father and music was not just something he loved, it was who he was and that is how he will always be remembered.
May he rest in peace. The family would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to Eleanor and Genaro Guerrero for their generosity in helping make this service possible.
