Amalia lived much of her life in Salinas, CA where she worked as a farm laborer for over 40 years at Bud Antle (Dole). After retirement she worked briefly at Villa Azteca before deciding to settle down in Avenal, CA to be closer to her family. Amalia was an excellent chef she loved to cook for the family and her hobby was to crochet and enjoy family time. She had a heart of GOLD she would do anything for her children and grandkids. Amalia was a very caring wife, daughter, mother, and sister.
Amalia is survived by her husband of 49 years, Juan Jose "Chino" Espinoza, their two children, Maribel Espinoza of Avenal, CA and Juan Jose Espinoza Jr of Salinas, CA, and her four grandchildren: Jessica Espinoza, Juan Jose Espinoza III, Luis Sierra Jr, and Juan Jose Sierra.
Amalia was the oldest of 15 siblings: Rogelio Meza (Irma) of Los Banos, CA, Herlinda Estrada (Hector) of Imperial, CA, Eladio Meza (Mary Lou) of Avenal, CA, Refugio "Cuca" Avalos of Fresno, CA, Esther Perez (Enrique), of Avenal, CA, Rosa Meza (Jose) of Hanford, CA, Cecilia Solorio (Carlos) of Avenal, CA, Martha Meza (Rafael) of Avenal, CA, Raul Meza (Peral) of Hanford, CA, Victoria Meza of Avenal, CA, Susana Estrada (Carlos) of Avenal, CA, and Juan Meza (Christina) of Fresno, CA.
Amalia is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Joaquin Meza and Henry "Kiki" Meza.
