Ashley Ann Cardoza

Ashley Ann Cardoza, age 38, passed away peacefully at home on August 8, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Hanford, CA.

Ashley is survived by her mother Kimberly (Joe) Pedreiro, brothers Brandon, Corey (Angel), niece Deagn and nephew Brogan, her father Brian (Stacy) Cardoza, brothers Tanner and Landon, grandparents Manuel and Sharon Cardoza, godparents Debbie Faccinto and John A. Braz, II, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Barbara Braz.

Ashley loved her trips to Disneyland with Christina and Chris, and was so happy to be home with her cat Midnight in her final days. After graduation from St. Rose McCarthy School, Hanford High School and Fresno State University, she worked as a substitute teacher at Caruthers Elementary School, where she loved working with the kids. She would come home every day with stories about her students. Ashley couldn’t wait for Sunday dinner and game nights with her Uncle John, and she enjoyed attending Koinonia Church with him.

Special thanks is extended to all of the family and friends that spent time sharing memories, reading and praying with her, and those who have brought food and sweets for Ashley to enjoy. And to all of those who reached out to the family during this difficult time.

The family would also like to thank Adventist Health Hospice Care, and Ashley’s Registered Nurse, Daisy Mulligan, RN.

All services will be held privately. Ashley requested that donations be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
