Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Beatriz Garcia de Ruvalcaba was born on August 9, 1942 and lived an amazing life filled with hardships and love, but dealt with it all with incredible strength and resilience. Beatriz was born in La Laja Municipio de Encarnacion de Diaz, Jalisco, Mexico and, per choice, celebrated her birthday on the 18th of August. She lived in Guadalajara and Cuquio but was raised in Yahualica, Jalisco. On the 19th of April in 1960, Beatriz married Salvador Ruvalcaba, whom she remained with for 58 happy years. She had six children, five of which survived; three women and two men.
Beatriz was a lively, self-assured and generous woman. A keeper of her home, she loved to knit, bake cakes and make fruit-filled gelatin for company. She loved all animals, and had a beloved golden retriever named Oso and many birds. She also has a passion for plants and flowers- a passion she passed on to her children. Beatriz was a devout Catholic who believed strongly in the principles of the church: She followed these principles with warmth and conviction always.
Beatriz left this world on the 28th of February of 2018 at 10:15 pm in Hanford, CA surrounded by the warm embrace of her family. She leaves behind her husband, children, sixteen adoring grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
