Isaiah 40:28-31 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

While I was attending Coalinga High School (class of 1979) Chris was the Librarian's assistant. I worked in the library my senior year and Chris showed me what needed to be done... What my duties would be. She was always so very nice and I enjoyed getting to work with her..
My thoughts and prayers are with all of her family.. God Bless...

Chris (Mrs. Carson) began to make a difference in our lives before I even met her. During a difficult time in my daughter's life, Mrs. Carson, the high school librarian became a friend and a refuge for my daughter. I heard a lot about her and her support and friendship to Elizabeth.
Later, I began to work at Coalinga Regional Medical Center with her daughter Tara. When I saw her that same day at Starbucks, she told me I was working with her daughter. Small world!
Over the years she has been a rock for Tara and had given me many a ride to or from work. We often heard stories about Mom from Tara.
Chris was a special loving lady who I was blessed to know.

I met Chris in the summer of 2016, when I joined the writers' group she was in at the Coalinga Public Library. I immediately saw that she was a spirited and kind lady, and a very talented writer with a vivid imagination. I will always remember her sense of humor and her contributions to the writers' group, and I'm glad I have her short stories as a memento. Rest in Peace, Chris. You will be missed.

There will be a reception afterwards at the Elks Lodge at 200 Cambridge in Coalinga. We are asking for any donations or flowers sent to be directed to the Presbyterian church or the Nazarene church. Both have played a huge roll in her life and continue after her passing. There will also be flyers posted for those without Facebook. Please spread the word.
