Cora Belle Smith

She was married to Odell Smith for 61 years.

She became a Christian at an early age and never departed from her faith.

Cora is survived by her husband, Odell; daughter, Connie Soares (Richard); grandchildren, Justin and Lynette and great-grandson, Adam; son, Larry Smith (Pam); grandsons, Travis and Logan; daughter, Becky Felsinger (Mike); grandchildren, Melissa (Justin) and Derek and great-grandson, Benjamin.

Cora loved children and spent several teaching first grade Sunday school classes. Her faith was most important to her. She also loved camping and traveling. Cora and Odell went to several states. She enjoyed visiting Washington D.C. and Civil War sites. Cora additionally took pleasure in taking trips to the coast and especially Morro Bay and the Otter Rock Restaurant.

Cora enjoyed tole painting, sewing and quilting. She made several quillos that were given to missionaries all over the world.

Cora traveled with her husband when he was with the musical group “Kings Three” for 10 years. She gave three knitted wash cloths to each pastor’s wife, which amounted to approximately 1800 wash cloths.

A special thank you to Dr. Raber and Hannah’s Home Care for their excellent care for the past year and a half.

She is now in Heaven walking the streets of gold!
