Dale grew up in Stratford and graduated from school in Stratford. He attended Lemoore High School but left before graduation to join the Air Force. In the service he graduated from radio operator school and was sent to Korea while it was still a combat zone. Upon returning from Korea he married Shirlene Mainer, the love of his life. They were married 70 years. Dale was 19 and Shirlene was 15 when they were married and blessed with three children; Dale Davidson Jr., Julie Ford and Wendy Nicholas. He had 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Dale graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education and earned a Master's Degree from Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo. He spent 32 years as a teacher, counselor, high school principal and as a school superintendent. He served on the Central Union School Board for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
