Danny Lee Howeth
October 15, 1954 – January 29, 2021
Formerly of Live Oak, CA, Danny Lee Howeth, 66 passed away on January 29,2021 at Adventist Health in Hanford, CA due to heart complications following a battle of diabetes and extensive heart surgeries.
Danny was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on October 15, 1954, to Daniel and Dorothy Howeth. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Bartlett (Jonny) of Hanford, CA and Jennae Goodrich (Lance De Armond) of Greenville TN and one grandson Nathan Bartlett of Hanford, CA.
He is also survived by his sisters – Beverly Melton of Gridley, CA and Donna Arms of Live Oak, brothers, Rick Howeth of Live Oak, and Steve Howeth of Yuba City, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Dorothy Howeth and his sister, Debra Howeth. Danny served in the United States Air Force for two years. He was stationed at Travis AFB and was honorably discharged. He worked in construction for over 30 years.
Danny’s love of sports gave him opportunities to play for many years on local leagues including tournaments at the Father’s House in Live Oak, CA. He loved playing softball and basketball until an injury kept him off the field but always a fan. One of his best pastimes was an annual brother’s road trip to see the Dodgers play in Los Angeles.
His proudest moment was being a grandparent. He attended almost every birthday for of his grandson Nathan and was able to see him play little league and basketball, as well as watching Nathan showcase his musical talents.
Danny liked to joke around with people and never met a stranger. He had a friendly personality and loved the Lord Jesus with his whole heart.
