Delbert R. Brewer

Delbert Ray Brewer, 82 of Hanford, California passed away June 8, 2015. He is fondly remembered by his wife of 60 years Nelda Brewer, daughter Cynthia Dittmar, daughter Karen Brewer and her husband Ted Pohlman and grandchildren Gillian and Garrett Pohlman. He was the son of Marie and Fred Brewer and brother of Shirley Osborn and Doris Carson who preceded him in death.

Delbert graduated from Hanford High School in 1952. He served in the Navy during The Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1956. He worked for JH Degnam, Armstrong Rubber Co. and Pirelli-Armstrong until his retirement in 1995. After retirement he enjoyed gardening and traveling to visit family and the coast. He was a lifetime member of The American Legion and a member of the Sons of Italy.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday June 15, 2015 at 10 a.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel 501 N Douty St. Hanford CA.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to The American Heart Association.
