Dorothy Jean Stone passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 in Kingsburg CA. Dorothy was born on Thursday, May 12, 1932 in Tupelo, Oklahoma to Paul and Fannie Usrey. She was one of seven siblings all of whom have preceded her in death.
Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Laton, and retired as a teacher’s aide for the Union Laton Unified School District. She enjoyed going to casinos and playing card games.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Marvin “Buck” Stone and her son Roy Duane Stone. She is survived by her son Dean Stone and wife Lois, her daughter Pamela Stone Molina, and her daughter in-law Linda Stone.
Dorothy has 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dorothy enjoyed a long life surrounded by her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held April 14, 2018 at 11:00 am at Park Kingsburg; 333 Kern St Kingsburg, California. The family requests any remembrances be made in the form of a donation to the donor’s favorite charity.
