Ellen was the third of five children born to John and Anna Straka and was the only girl. Ellen married Thomas Phillip Thomsen on April 19, 1969. They had 4 children, two of whom died as infants.
Ellen is survived by her daughter, Katherine Ann Leoni (Shane), son Thomas Matthew “Tommy” Thomsen, two grandchildren Matthew and Sara Leoni, a brother Henry Straka, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ellen was a Homemaker for 56 years and was also very involved in the family's beekeeping business for 30 of those years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. In her later years, she enjoyed going to Senior Music Night in Lemoore, where she loved music and laughter.
She is preceded in death by her husband, two infant sons, parents, and three brothers.
