

Claudine Coplin was born on February 8th, 1934 in Ash Flat, Arkansas to Jim and Mary Estes. Claudine’s family came out west in 1937 and settled in Armona, CA. Claudine attended Armona Union Elementary School and Hanford Union High School. She met the love of her life, Eber Coplin, when she was 14 years old and married him at 17 when he joined the Navy. They were married for 73 years. She took her last breath on July 15th, 2025 with her husband and daughter by her side.
Claudine joyfully worked as a teachers aide at Pioneer Elementary School for 20 years. She loved going out for coffee and became a regular at many local restaurants through the years. She also enjoyed bus trips to Laughlin and spending an afternoon at Tachi Palace. She played the slot machines and almost always won.
Claudine is survived by her loving husband, Eber Coplin, son, Chuck Coplin (Nancy), and daughter, Cinda Sebring. Grandchildren include Kristen Eymil, Lisa Coplin, Brea Cannady, and Ricky Delgado. Great-Grandchildren are Devyn Boyd, Nona and Taryn Melchor, Jayce Garcia, Guiliana Gines, Cienna Gillette, Elliot Eymil, and Cruz Cannady. A great-great-granddaughter is expected any day now.
The family would like to recognize and thank the Hanford Adventist Hospice team for the support and comfort they provided to Claudine and the family.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Grangeville Cemetery in Armona on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 10:00am with a reception immediately following at 1050 W. Ambassador Drive, Hanford.
