Frank Cardenas was born on October 19, 1945 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Hanford to Frank and Mary Cardenas.
Frank was raised in Corcoran, California. He attended Corcoran Elementary School and Corcoran High School. Frank graduated from Corcoran High School in 1965. After graduating from high school, Frank went to the College of the Sequoias and enrolled in the agricultural program. After attending COS, Frank worked for Salyers Ranch in Corcoran as a chemical applicator for many years.
Frank lived most of his life in the Corcoran area. He moved to Visalia to Plumlee's Board & Care ten years ago.
Frank enjoyed going hunting with his dad, Frank Sr. They hunted for pheasant and snow geese. Frank enjoyed the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. He particularly enjoyed the meals that featured his favorites, turkey and chicken. Frank enjoyed spending time with the family and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Cardenas and his brother, Tony Cardenas.
Frank is survived by his brother Tom Cardenas of Visalia, California and two uncles, Frank and Tony Ojeda and one aunt, Lupe Huerta. Frank will be sorely missed, especially by his friends and the staff at Plumlee's Board and Care.
A Visitation for Frank will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 West Goshen Ave, Visalia, CA 93291. Graveside Service will occur on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 10:00 am at Calvary Cemetery, 11680 S 10th Ave, Hanford, CA 93230.
