Frederick Paul Garcia, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, at the age of 80, surrounded by his loving family at Centennial Hills Hospital. Born on November 14, 1945, in Selma, California, Fred's life was a testament to dedication, love, and service.

Fred was the cherished son of Rose Ramirez and Bonny Garcia. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 61 years, Gracie Garcia, and his son, Richard Conrad Garcia. He leaves behind a legacy of love in his surviving children, Fred Jr. and his wife Pamela Garcia, and daughter Rose Garcia. Fred's heart was full of pride and joy for his five grandchildren: Monalisa Marquez, Christopher Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, Dominic and his wife Jessica Garcia, and Gracie Carpenter, as well as his great-grandchild Ava Garcia.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Fred bravely served his country during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he would retire from Ford Motor Company. Afterwards he would advance to become a Supervisor of Shipping and Receiving at Xerox. In 2001, Fred embraced retirement by relocating to Las Vegas, NV with his family. However, his active spirit led him to continue working in various roles, including as a security officer and fire extinguisher technician, until he fully retired in 2019. It was then that he devoted his time to working on his home and creating memories with his beloved wife, Gracie.

Fred was a man of great passion, particularly when it came to sports. An avid sports lover, he spent countless hours watching games on TV and attending live events, coaching boxing, and playing golf. He found joy in the open road, often taking his motorcycle for long rides, exploring new places alongside Gracie. His adventurous spirit was matched only by his unwavering loyalty and deep love for his family. Fred's commitment to service continued beyond his military career, as he joined the National Guard and walked in the footsteps of his father before him, becoming a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Fred's generous nature shone through in his charitable endeavors, as he quietly supported various organizations over the years. Never seeking recognition but was always ready to lend a helping hand to everyone around.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate Fred's remarkable life on July 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Northwest, located at 6701 North Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89131. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made in Fred's memory to a charity of your choice, honoring his lifelong commitment to helping others.

Fred's life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and service. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and his spirit will forever inspire those he leaves behind.
