

Gabriel was born in San Jose, California, raised and educated in Sanger and Hanford, graduating from Hanford High School East Campus 2004. He was a member of the Bullpup Baseball team, playing shortstop. Gabriel continued his education at West Hills College. As a young man, Gabriel enjoyed baseball, soccer, and kick boxing. His hobbies included creating rap music, playing piano, sports of all kinds and dancing. Gabriel enjoyed life to its fullest and always strived to be the best. He had a great sense of humor and all remember him as a comedian who loved to make everyone smile and laugh. Gabriel wanted everyone to be happy and could not handle anyone being upset with him. His family remembers him as a very special man with big dreams and goals. GABRIEL WILL BE REMEMBERED BY ALL, FORGOTTEN BY NONE.
Gabriel was preceded in death by his birth mother, Sandra Munoz Salinas in October of 1988.
Gabriel leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Noah De La Torre of Hanford, CA and Draysen De La Torre of Fresno, CA; his loving father and mother, Eddie and Lydia Salinas of Hanford, CA; three loving brothers, Stephen Salinas and wife, Lina of Hanford, Rico De La Torre and wife Mirelle of Fresno, CA, Manuel De La Torre, III of Stockton, CA; three loving sisters, Elena Modesto and husband, Ricky of Sanger, CA, Stacey Salinas of Morgan Hill, CA and Marcelina De La Torre of Stockton, CA; his birth father, Manuel De La Torre of Stockton, CA and numerous nieces, nephews and many family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 4 – 7 p.m. with Recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty St., Hanford, CA 93230
