Gregory Coulter Sr.

Brother Gregory Coulter Sr. was born on July 3, 1956 in Los Angeles, California to Lawrence Coulter and Oree Littrel. When Greg was three years old, his mother Oree, met Tommy Lee Sanders who became a father, friend and a very influential person in his life. Greg attended Ascot Elementary, Carver Jr Middle School and Jefferson High School where he excelled in sports and become MVP of his basketball team. After he graduated high school, he entered the Job Corps.

At the age of 17, Greg started his work journey as a butcher at Globe Packing Company in San Fernando. He also worked for Gillette-Paper Mate for 10 years and Los Angeles Unified School District.

Greg married his wife Charlotte Logan, on September 4, 1982. From this union they shared 12 children. They relocated to the Central Valley in 1989. In 1998, Gregory started working at Harris Ranch as a security guard and held the same position as a secondary job at Tachi Palace, Hotel and Casino. In 2012, Greg was awarded with Manager of the Year at Harris Ranch. During his 15 years working for Harris Ranch, Mr. Harris, his management team and co-workers became his extended family. Greg coached his son’s NJB team and All Net traveling team along with David Eoff. He loved music, barbequing, fishing and playing Runescape on the computer with his grandkids and friends.

He was a huge fan of the 49er’s and the Lakers. Greg accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on November 28, 2013.

Greg departed this life on January 10, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Coulter, his Step-Father, Tommy Lee Sanders and his Father-in-Law, Thomas Logan.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Charlotte Coulter, Mother, Oree Littrel, Mother-in-Law, Deborah Logan-Teamer. Twelve Children: DeAndre Coulter, Charnesha Thomas (Brent), Dante Coulter, Ronnesha Mitchell (John), Gregnesha Coulter, Deborah Dorris, Cordaryl Coulter, Dominque Coulter, Terrence Coulter, Brittany Coulter, Gregory Coulter II, De’Vante Coulter. Fifteen Grandchildren: Taylor C., Taylor T., Nehemiah Jr., Donovan Jr., Neiah, Rylee, Donte Jr., Keimyah, Khali, Mekhi, Cameron, Eddy, E’Niyah, Valerie, Eli.

One Brother: Ronald Coulter. Sisters: Annette Marsh (Tony) and Patricia Jones (Johnnie), Two Brother-in-Laws: Anthony and Larry Logan, Sr. Three Sister-in-Laws: Chavonne Smith (Frank, Sr.), Chrystal Garcia (Adan) and Dionne Logan. Donte and Terrance’s mother, Darlene Young. A host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Bro Gregory was loved by everyone that knew him and will be dearly missed.
