Helen Beatrice Rocha of Hanford, California went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at the age of 43. She was born on January 20, 1978, in Sacramento, California. She grew up in Hanford, California with her mom, step-dad, and three sisters.
Helen worked at The Tachi Palace as a card dealer for nineteen years. Helen loved camping, hiking, dancing and spending time with family, and creating memories. All of her nieces and nephews always loved going to her house because she was the “fun” Tia. She loved playing numerous games with them and teaching them all about card dealing. But Helen’s strongest passion was being the best “Meemaw” to her one and only granddaughter who meant the world to her. Helen was a very compassionate, kind, and sweet person, always known as the life of the party.
Throughout Helen’s battle, her faith grew exponentially. Throughout the journey she showed such peace and calmness, you could feel the Lord’s presence just being around her. She often told people, “The Lord has me in his hands”. Any opportunity that allowed her to mention the word of Jesus, she proudly spread his love. Helen will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her, she had a way of making each and every person feel special.
Helen was preceded in death by her father, James B. Rocha, and her step-father, Richard X. Maciel. She is survived by her three sons Eli S. Munoz, Mathew Munoz, Nehemiah Munoz, her daughter Anesa Munoz, their father Sammy Munoz, daughter-in-law Jennavi Ayala and granddaughter Malyeiah Munoz. As well as, her mother, Linda L. Maciel, three sisters, and three brothers-in-law, Rigo and Corinna Avina, Robert and Lynn Lane, Eric and Cynthia Rodrigues, her half-brother Luis J. Rocha, twenty-two nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and nephews.
We will have a Celebration of Life at Koinonia Church for Helen on Thursday, September 9th at 10 am, Burial to follow at Kings-River Cemetery.
