Hubert Allen Sutherland

He was born in Indianapolis, IN to John Leroy and Virgie L. Sutherland. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years Betty Jo Sutherland. His children Steven A. Sutherland (wife Tami), Edward E. Sutherland, Donna S. Willhite (Husband Nathan) and John C. Sutherland (wife Jolynn). His grandchildren Bryant A. Sutherland (wife Victoria), Brittney I. Sutherland, Brynen E. Sutherland, Sarah N. Willhite, Tyler E. Willhite and Jacey E. Sutherland. Great-grandchildren Mckinley I. Sutherland, Addyline E. Sutherland and Levi O. Sutherland. He had 2 sisters, Aletha A. Sutherland, Linda Sutherland and 2 brothers, Everette Sutherland and Dennis Sutherland.

Hubert proudly served in the U.S. Navy 1957-1979. He worked to maintain numerous types of aircraft for most of his career. He worked for McCarthy Farms 1979-1985. He returned to the U.S. Navy 1985-2000 as an instructor, teaching the next generation how to maintain their aircraft. Hubert (most knew him as Earl) had a love of old cars and was very knowledgeable about working on them. Loved his life. Loved his family and Loved meeting new people. He never met anyone he wouldn’t talk to.
