I had no idea Mr Stinson had passed, I’m so sorry for the family’s loss. I worked for the Post Office many years ago. Mr Stinson was the highlight of my every day. He was at the end of my route and by the time I got to his stop, I was exhausted and beat down by the day and all the unkind people I’d run into. Mr Stinson would walk down the street to his nbu to meet me and ask me about my day, tell me about his, talk about his love of his son and his son’s wife, missing his wife and wanting to be with her again..he’d talk about how much he loved the church he was apart of, how beautiful the weather was…He was a kind and beautiful soul, one that God knew I needed waiting for me at that box at the end of my day to remind me to keep going, that there are kind and wonderful and caring people in the world to lift you up when you need it most. I left the Post Office many years ago and I still think about what a wonderful man Mr Stinson was. I had googled him today to see if I could get his address as it was lost in my memory and I wanted to send him a letter to see how he was doing after all these years. I’m saddened to hear of his passing but I know he’s got a huge smile on his face in heaven right now being reunited with his wife.
