Iva Mae McNamara

Iva is survived by her daughter, Pamela Spurlock of Hanford, CA, her grandsons Robert Spurlock of Fremont, CA and Ronald Spurlock of Hanford, CA, Great-Grand Daughter, Natalee Spurlock of Fresno, CA, and her brother Homer Taylor of Fallon, NV. She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Thomas McNamara of Hanford, CA and her Son-in-Law, Johnnie Spurlock of Hanford, CA.

Iva was born on January 07, 1925 in Hughes, Oklahoma to Obrey Sherrin and Mattie Gallimore. Iva married her favorite customer, Thomas McNamara, where they met while Iva was working in a malt shop at Porterville, CA in 1947. After moving to Redondo Beach, CA, Thomas began working as an aeronautical engineer and Iva was a successful homemaker for her growing family. Thomas and Iva retired together and moved to Hanford, CA in 1979 to be closer to their and grandchildren.

The family of Iva thanks the many friends and family for the outpouring of support during this difficult time while they mourn privately.
