Jimmie went to be with her loved ones and God on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Hacienda Healthcare in Hanford, California. Jimmie was born to James & Eliza (Birmingham) Butler on May 24, 1922 in Black Oak, Arkansas.
Jimmie was raised with her family in Monet, Arkansas until she was married at the early age of 16 to the love of her life “Grandpa” ; Elmo “Pal” Finley. They remained married until his untimely passing in 1971. Together they had three beautiful children; Wanda Lou Maccagno, Teddy Allen Finley and Patricia Lee Finley. In the 1940’s Jimmie moved to Armona, California where she and Pal raised their family. She was a devoted Homemaker until his passing and then later became a Nanny for several years. Jimmie’s legacy is that she was always nurturing and caring in every way, a great listener, excellent cook who loved to feed everyone, very social – she was a social butterfly! She will also be remembered for her great sense of humor. She was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ever ask for… She was wise, loving, affectionate, giving, charismatic, strong and accepting of others. Jimmie was adored by many and she will be missed dearly.
Jimmie was preceded in death by her parents; James & Eliza Butler, her beloved husband; Elmo (Pal) Finley, two beautiful children; Wanda Lou Maccagno and Teddy Allen Finley.
Jimmie will always be cherished by her loving daughter; Patricia Lee Finley of Hanford and her wonderful grandchildren; Duke, Heather & Rain Homan, Kara Finley, Kirk & Craig Maccagno and her precious seven great-grandkids.
Services will be held privately by the family. Ultimately, Jimmie will be laid to rest near her beloved husband Pal Finley at Grangeville Cemetery in Armona, California.
