While in college, he became interested in the theater and acting, producing, and directing but he had many jobs including working at National Cash Register, Farrell’s Ice Cream Shop, Greyhound (as a bus driver), and the Department of Corrections at Corcoran State Prison, where he retired after 25 years as a Watch Commander in 2018.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Rabe, his daughter, Michelle Rabe of Glendale Arizona, and a granddaughter, Jessica Jones of Reno, Nevada.
There are not to be any formal services per his request.
