John, Debra, Darcy & Jim:
What a beautiful tribute to your mom. She was very special to both Bruce & I. Your entire family embraced us when we started attending First Christian. Joyce would always pray "extra hard" as she would say when Bruce did the devotions. She helped him to become more confident in his position and always believed in him.

I remember many wonderful times visiting in her living room along with your grandmother Evelyn. We would have some good laughs. Your mother helped me get through the tough times after Bruces death. She had been there and really understood.

She was a wonderful Godly woman who will be missed by many. It is comforting to know she is with our Lord and no longer ill and in pain.

May God comfort your family and may your memories sustain you.

I am having trouble grasping that Joyce is gone since I talked to her just a little over a week ago outside the dentist's office. It was so wonderful to see her and Debbie.

I had called Tom the day before the service about another matter and he filled me in on what had taken place. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the service, but was totally hemmed in.

Your mom was always special to us. Karen and I both knew we could call her and ask for prayer support and she was right on it. We will always remember her as a woman of faith and spiritual substance. We will miss her.

Please pass our condolences on to the rest of the family.

John: I don't know if you remember me but we attended Hanford High School together and were in the same Home Room and several classes together. You were always such a decent guy and I admired what a great student you were as well. Please accept my condolences and remember, your mother will always live in your heart with all of the wonderful memories that have of her.
