Kristine Marie Carr

Kristine was born on May 10, 1953 to her parents; Noel and Mary Singleton in Fresno, California.

As a child she would sing to the animals on her Grandfather’s farm in Caruthers and dance with the limbs of the willow trees.

Kristine worked at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Laton, California for many years in the office and also teaching CCD. She was a member of the order of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Carmelites and prayed her devotional book, The Little Office daily.

Kristine married Thomas Carr in Crescent City on November 12, 1992. They met while working at Fresno County Jail. Kris worked as a Correctional Services Assistant for Fresno and latter at Pelican Bay State Prison. Kristine will always be remembered for her beautiful smile that would light up a room and cause a ripple effect of joy and happiness!

Her hobbies included; gardening, writing, creating silk flower arrangements, singing, reading and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her Mother; Mary Singleton and Sister Frannie Shipman.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her Beloved Husband; Thomas Carr of 21 years of Lemoore, her Loving Children; Daniel Meek of Kingsburg, Rosaland and her Husband Jim Langlois of Roseville and her loving Father Noel Singleton of Hanford. She will also be dearly missed by her Dear Brothers Edward and Wife Darla Singleton of Nebraska, Paul and Wife Billie Singleton of Hanford and Eric Singleton of Hanford. She also leaves behind her 5 Beautiful Grandchildren, many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

We will all miss her dearly, but we are comforted and have peace in knowing that she is out of pain and with her Heavenly Father.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2014 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2014 all at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church; 20855 S.
