

Larry was born in Hanford, California on January 9, 1975 to Larry and Deborah Serrano. He attended Monroe Elementary, Pioneer Elementary, Woodrow Wilson Junior High and Hanford High School, graduating in 1993. Larry was a member of the Bullpup football and soccer team. Larry married soon after high school and fathered four beautiful children, Sadie Jane, Larry Joseph, Danny Noah and Hannah Maree. Larry was of Catholic faith. He was an avid Miami Dolphin fan and enjoyed playing cards and golfing with his friends. He lived life to the fullest and always made his presence known wherever he went. Larry loved to make people smile and laugh and tried to always lift the spirits of those he was around. He was always loyal to his family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his father Larry Serrano in 1977; grandmother Erma Joe Camara 1988; grandfather Clarence Camara in 1989.
Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his four children, Sadie Jane, Larry Joseph, Danny Noah and Hannah Maree of Visalia; his mother, Deborah Smoyer of Hanford; his brother, Danny Serrano and wife, Rachelle of Hanford; grandfather, Hilario Blanco Serrano and wife, Estella of Laton, CA; two aunts, Christine Hays of Hanford and Fatima Serrano of Laton; one niece, Presley Serrano of Hanford; one nephew, Danny Evan Serrano of Hanford; cousins, Richard Kliever, Shelly Garrett, McKenzie Hays, Manuel Serrano, Cyndie Thomasson and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at People’s Funeral Chapel, 501 N. Douty Street in Hanford, California on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 4 – 7 p.m. with recitation of rosary at 7 p.m. Graveside inurnment will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Laton on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow at the Fraternal Hall in Hanford.
