My deepest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure to meet Lena thru my godparents Ramon and Ermilia Garcia. She was a fun person always laughing. May it give you all comfort to know that she is with God...in the palm of his hands. Julian, Helen and Manuel. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. God Bless You all.

My Aunt Lena had special magic that made everyone feel loved and respected. She had a gift of making a person laugh, scream, and cry all at once. My stomach ached from her making me laugh from childhood into adulthood. Aunt Lena treated my sister Corina and I as if we were her own. My parents Tacho and Gloria new that if we were left to play with Cousins Julian and Helen, we would be safe with Uncle Manuel and Aunt Lena. A definite guarantee for good time playing in the tree house and picking figs from their giant fig tree. Four cousins with strong family resemblance.
Dearest Aunt Lena, certainly the favorite Aunt in the Gonzales Familia. A gracious hostess, always kind and understanding of others. I know I will get to see you one day in heaven. We’ll scream, laugh and cry. We’ll make tortillas and chile together. Home is where the heart is and your time has graciously come for you to dwell in peace with God. I promise to look after Uncle Manuel for you. He and I have some good hikes in us.
Your loving nephew.

Aunt Lena, You were always the life of the party, fashionably dressed, and full of jokes. We had so many fun times as a family. This picture was from Oct. 8, 2016 at my dad's and Uncle Frank's birthday party at the Hanford Bowl. We all danced the night away. I will cherish these memories always, I love you, Jen.

We are so sorry to hear that Aunt Lena has pass away. She was a wonderful woman with a big heart. I can remember all the times she was there for us as kids. I'm forever grateful for the love and support she gave to us. When I think of her I'll remember her humor, her laugh and her smile. May she rest in peace.

Aunt Lena, thank you for being such a great role model. You worked hard but always made time for family and made everyone feel welcome. Thank you for your praises and encouragement over the years. It meant a lot to me. I will miss your beautiful smile.

Lena's son Julian has been my very good friend since Kindergarten at McCarthy . Lena would take turn's with my mom driving us to school always telling jokes and smiling as big as she could. I guess that's where Julian got it from LOL. I hated tamales until I tried her batch and homemade salsa and was instantly hooked. I probably wont eat tamales again. Bless Lena and her family ,there the best friend's anyone could have.
