Lewis Tomasetti was born on November 29, 1949, to Louie and Marjorie Tomasetti. He was the fourth of eight children and the first born son. Lewis passed away on August 19, 2024. He grew up in a close-knit family, attending school in Riverdale and graduating from Riverdale High School in 1968. After graduating, Lewis enlisted in the Army and was deployed to Vietnam, where he served his country honorably as an Army sergeant.
After his deployment, Lewis returned home and married Sarah Dent. Together, they had three sons: Steven, Mark, and Brian. He later married Madeline Boatman. They shared over 30 years of marriage, and Lewis became a beloved stepfather to Madeline’s sons, Wayne and Andrew.
Lewis is survived by his wife, Madeline, his sons Steven, Mark, and Brian, his stepsons, Wayne and Andrew, and 6 grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held on September 6th at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery followed by a celebration of his life at Mendes’ Barn - 5075 West Schilling, Riverdale, CA.
