LisaMarie Faraone was born on May 20, 1963 to Armond and Virginia Faraone in Schenectady, NY. She was a happy child who enjoyed playing with friends and animals. Growing up in the Catholic Church her family was deeply rooted in Schenectady’s Italian- American community. From an early age she was taught the importance of traditions and keeping them going throughout the generations. LisaMarie graduated from Linton High School, after high school she went on to become a Hairdresser. Being a “social-butterfly” LisaMarie had many friends and some friendships that remained with her throughout her life. In her early twenties she was blessed with a daughter (her only child) Angela C. Faraone. Being a mother was a great achievement for her and she did her best to raise her daughter with the same traditions that she was instilled with. In her mid- thirties she got married and settled down in the Central Park area of Schenectady. She enjoyed taking walks in the park on autumn days when the leaves began to change into beautiful shades of red and orange. She always said that no place on earth was prettier than Upstate NY in the fall. Apple picking, carving pumpkins, warm apple cider and hay rides were how she spent her free time during her favorite season. In her late thirties she found herself divorced and starting her life over again. It is during this time she leaned heavily on her long-time friends and family. LisaMarie had always had a deep passion for cooking and making people smile with food. So when it became time for her to start a new career she decided to become a cook. She loved going to work every day. Her ability to connect with people through food and conversation served her well and she became fulfilled in her job. In her early forties her body began to feel the effects of such a physically demanding lifestyle. Her health started to decline and she was no longer able to do a lot of the things she used to. She decided it was time for a slower pace. She moved to Phelan, California with her sister Roberta Yearton. After a few years she met a wonderful man Michael Williams with whom she moved and stayed with until her passing. Remaining in California until her passing on September 20, 2013, LisaMarie was a very proud New Yorker who had a no-nonsense attitude. She spoke her mind and had a heart of gold. If someone was in need of anything she helped in any way possible. She believed that laughing and joking was the cure for any sadness and that’s what filled her heart!
LisaMarie is survived by Phillip Faraone (Brother), Roberta Yearton (sister) and Eginia Pasquarelli (sister). At the time of her passing she is survived by her daughter Angela Faraone and grandchildren, Louis Galarza 12 and Nathaniel Blue 1. LisaMarie will always be cherished by her longtime companion; Michael G. Williams of Hanford, California. LisaMarie also had many nieces and nephews and a large extended family. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
