

Lorenzo was born to Ronald Eugene Bennett and Joyce Arlene White on May 4, 1983 in Taylorsville, Alexander County, North Carolina. Lorenzo went to be with Our Lord Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in Lemoore, California after an unfortunate accident involving a car cutting him off on his motorcycle on the way home to his favorite doughnut shop for his family to have breakfast and celebrate the future arrival of Christian. Lorenzo proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy for six years followed by serving the U.S. Navy as a Civilian Contracted Aircraft Serviceman for six years at L-3 and URS, Inc. Lorenzo served the U.S. Navy on the VFA-94 which traveled to many countries. He served in operation Iraqi Freedom. Lorenzo was a Petty Officer 3rd Class. Lorenzo was a well decorated veteran receiving the following medals; Good Conduct Award Medal (GCA), Global War on Terrorism Medal(GWOT), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Sea Service Navy Unit Commendation. Lorenzo served as President and Pastor of the Coast 2 Coast Burners MC for the last three years. Lorenzo was an active member of NJROTC and the FFA. Lorenzo received his AA in Criminal Justice in July 2012. Lorenzo was faithful in all of his ministries. He was a very devoted man to God, family and all those whose lives he touched. Lorenzo’s favorite classes were Religion and World History. Lorenzo had many passions in life; model airplanes, autograph collecting, anything motorcycle, NASCAR collector and he loved to collect art! He loved to watch basketball and NASCAR racing. Some other activities that Lorenzo was involved in was; American Legion and various ministries. Lorenzo was an ordained Non-Denominational Minister from 2006 for his current motorcycle ministries and services. Lorenzo loved the outdoors, especially taking trips to the Sequoias, Morro Bay and Pismo.
Lorenzo was raised with his six siblings; Amanda, Erica, Charity and Jamel Bennett, Nicholas Prapst and Jeremy Dodd. While growing up he was really close to; Mitch Perkins and then later in life to; Tommy Post, Austin Redding, Clarence “CJ” Washington and Judy Dobler. On May 19, 2004 Lorenzo married the love of his life; Mindy May Nisonger Bennett in Hanford, California. Lorenzo and Mindy joined their family in Lemoore, California by their three beautiful daughters; Destiny Pierce-Bennett, Rhyanna Bennett, Takara Bennett and Christian Bennett on the way due in December. His family and friends will dearly miss him but he too will be missed by his best buddy of two years; Thor, an electric blue cyclid… Their family was rounded off by their red nose pit bull; Rischka and several koi and unique fish.
Lorenzo is survived by his parents; Ronald Bennett and Joyce White of North Carolina. He is also survived by his beloved wife; Mindy and their children; Destiny, Rhyanna, Takara and Baby Bennett all of Lemoore, California. Lorenzo also leaves behind his siblings; Amanda, Erica, Charity, Jamel, Nicholas and Jeremy. Lorenzo is also survived by his host of family and many friends. He will be forever missed and held close in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him…
A Funeral Service with U.S. Navy Military Funeral Honors on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Visitation to continue until 8:00 p.m. all at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford, CA 93230 559-584-5591. Burial will take place later in the week at Iredell Memorial Park; 2304 Shelton Avenue, Statesville, NC 28677.
