February 21, 2022 in Fresno, Ca at the age of 73.
Manuela was born to Nicolaza & Catarino Valenzuela on September 4.1948
in Redford, Texas. Manuela grew up in Huron, Ca. She went by the nickname
of Neddy and was the 4th child out of 10 siblings. On October 12, 1967
Manuela married the love of her life Dionicio Hernandez.
Together they built their life and family in Kettleman City, Ca.
Manuela worked at Kettleman City Elementary School as an Attendance
Clerk for a little over 28 years before retiring in December 2014.
She loved her job and loved helping people in the community. She was
humble and never expected anything in return. In 2001 she recieved the
Milton O. Wilen Award for providing service to the school and students for
educational excellence. This truly showed all the dedication Manuela had
towards her job and was something she was very proud of. During retirement
Manuela enjoyed her time with her loving family, painting, drawing, singing
and became closer to God.
Manuela is survived by her husband of 54 years Dionicio Hernandez,
4 children and their partners: Maria Teresa Hernandez. Dionicio Hernandez
& Shawni Gabriel. Ariana & Isaac Jimenez and Damian Hernandez.
9 grandchildren: Analisa, Angel, Ashley, Gabriel & Cruz Hernandez,
Delilah & Liliah Jimenez. Isaiah & Ariella Hernandez.
3 great grandchildren: Christopher, Elizabeth & Esmeray.
4 brothers. 2 sisters and many nieces & nephews.
Manuela was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Alaina Isabella
Jimenez, parent's: Nicolaza & Catarino Valenzuela sisters: Rosalia
Valenzuela & Catalina Pelagio, brother: Alfredo Valenzuela.
